Of course.

Biotics are individuals with the ability to manipulate physics. Something to do with the generation of dark energy... I'm not one myself, so it's difficult to say exactly. But what it eventually adds up to, is that a biotic individual is capable of moving objects with their mind, to put it simply.

Yes, actually. What I can do sounds very similar to that. I have been, of course, trained in other methods of combat as well as my magic capabilities.
