[Zelda wasn't amused at being whisked away to a party she had not planned (nor wanted) to attend. She had stayed the least amount of time possible, and then left. Currently, she's in the field of flowers, picking a few for her room.]
I assume all the 'festivities' are now over?
[She is not admitting she got squirted again. Nope.]

Sometimes it's easier not to pay attention. I don't know about you, but all the... parties or whatever get exhausting.

Date: 2010-02-18 06:08 pm (UTC)I have never liked parties, or balls. My father used to have them, being the king it was expected, but I rarely enjoyed it. I prefer more practical past times, such as reading, field practice, or magic.

Date: 2010-02-18 06:15 pm (UTC)That's interesting. I never really thought of reading as practical. I guess it depends on what kind... or why you're reading something.

Date: 2010-02-18 06:20 pm (UTC)My father required that I read literature on ancient Hyrule and its histories, books on politics and diplomacy, on Hylian, Zora, Goron, and Gerudo law, all known languages, and many other things. That is why I say it was practical. It is imperative that I am well educated in all things Hyrule and the surrounding areas.

Date: 2010-02-18 06:44 pm (UTC)Right. When you're studying what you read, it's not the same as reading for pleasure. I get it. ... It's even worse if that's not what you want for yourself.

Date: 2010-02-18 07:42 pm (UTC)I had little choice. I have to be what is best for Hyrule.

Date: 2010-02-19 12:56 pm (UTC)I beg your pardon?

Date: 2010-02-24 02:04 am (UTC)Uh... human tradition. Easter's a holiday that some people celebrate. With the aforementioned bunny that gives out eggs.

Date: 2010-02-24 02:19 am (UTC)[No. No she doesn't.]

Date: 2010-02-24 02:28 am (UTC)Its a human thing. Probably not worth explaining, but I figured it was worth a warning, considering the captain's taste for celebration.

Date: 2010-02-24 04:20 am (UTC)You have my thanks for the advanced warning. I sure be sure not to eat any sweets that are laid out for me during that time.

Date: 2010-02-24 05:10 am (UTC)Probably a good idea. You might end up with a set of bunny ears or somethin'.
no subject
Date: 2010-02-24 01:42 pm (UTC)That would be most unfortunate, yes. I imagine ...'bunny ears' would look rather out of place on me.
my cat is on the keyboard, trying to write tags to zelda
Date: 2010-02-24 08:30 pm (UTC)Yeah. Though if that's all that happened, you'd be getting off fairly easy. Still a good idea to avoid the food during 'festivities', though.
kitty wants to taaaaaalk <3
Date: 2010-02-24 09:51 pm (UTC)I think I will take your advice, and avoid anything that the captain gives me.
Yessss XD
