[There is a clunk, and by the way the person is talking, it sounds rather like someone has accidentally pressed a button on the communicator.]

What...is this magic? [The decidedly feminine voice is composed but strained, and there is evident confusion interlaced with a bit of suspicion. The speaker is examining the device, and as she begins to figure out how to use it, her voice strengthens, though her next words sound...tired.]

Where am I...? [She seems to be talking to herself, and her voice is faint; she isn't speaking directly into the device anymore.] How...odd.

[She clears her throat, then directs her voice into the communicator, fully intending on finding out just what is going on.]

Being as I am quite obviously not in Hyrule Castle, nor even Hyrule itself; I must ask for some sort of explanation. If there is someone out there that can offer that, I would be deeply indebted to you.

I believe the...other Princess is on her way. [It's clear Zelda has a difficult time with this. She should not be on board a boat with figures from the legendary past.]

But I...would very much like to meet you in person, if you would not mind. I...think I need to see you for myself. [To believe it.]

[With that, he clicks his communicator off and heads towards the stairwells. After a few minutes, he finally finds it. 6207, right...?

There's a gentle knock.]

[He was a bit faster than she had thought, but she set aside the communicator for now, and went to the door.

This was something the Princess had to brace herself for. This was...a legend. A figure of the past, someone that she had never truly thought to meet in person. So, it was with a carefully blank face she opened the door to him; her features arranging themselves into a perfect smile.]

[The woman who answers the door is beautiful, it's no more complicated than that. The name "Zelda" fits her just as well as it fits the Princess he knows.

It's still shocking to see this second Princess of Hyrule though, and in this moment after she opened the door, all he can do is stare with big blue eyes.]

[Since he does not say anything at first, she inclines her head slightly (she does not bow), and speaks.]

[With her kneeling like this, he can see her face much better. The resemblance is uncanny.]

So... are you her... great-granddaughter?

Granddaughter, we believe. [Strange to think of her that way, but she supposed it was true. This was the Zelda from the his era; an era of legends. She supposed that she herself would also ultimately end up being thought of as a story.]

There are...several resemblences. It is...an odd feeling to look at her.

[He smiles nervously and purposely doesn't address his own experience meeting his possible descendant, or even reincarnation.]

Don't worry, Princess. We've all been kidnapped here, but you'll be protected.

Protected. [She almost smiles at this.] I appreciate the sentiment, but I assure you I am a rather capable woman.

Capable or not, my life is the Royal Family's, and this place... I'm willing to bet it's nothing like you've seen in Hyrule. It's dangerous. Please, I really don't mind offering protection.

If you...insist. [She doesn't like the way he said his life was the royal familiy's; his life was his own, and if he so choose to serve, then all the better. Of course, she didn't say that to him; she had no idea if that would cause offense or not.]

Um... I wonder what I should call you? Just "Zelda" is going to get confusing.

As you wish. [She nods her head at his bow, then her face furrowed into a slight frown.]

Yes, that could get...complicated. I never had...a nickname as a child, so I am unsure as to what else I could possibly go by. I have never been called anything other than Zelda.
