[There is a clunk, and by the way the person is talking, it sounds rather like someone has accidentally pressed a button on the communicator.]

What...is this magic? [The decidedly feminine voice is composed but strained, and there is evident confusion interlaced with a bit of suspicion. The speaker is examining the device, and as she begins to figure out how to use it, her voice strengthens, though her next words sound...tired.]

Where am I...? [She seems to be talking to herself, and her voice is faint; she isn't speaking directly into the device anymore.] How...odd.

[She clears her throat, then directs her voice into the communicator, fully intending on finding out just what is going on.]

Being as I am quite obviously not in Hyrule Castle, nor even Hyrule itself; I must ask for some sort of explanation. If there is someone out there that can offer that, I would be deeply indebted to you.

[She pauses at the name. It's unfamiliar to her, but she can hardly expect to know everyone aboard. She certainly tries, however.]

I am fairly certain you are right. One must only know the right questions to ask, after all, and what you can gain is infinite.

Knowledge itself is infinite. It is given definition by what someone chooses to do with that knowledge. You do not need me to tell you that, however. You have likely known all along.

[She doesn't respond immediately. She's not really sure what to say just yet. She can speak from experience, of course.]

I have heard that when people leave, they tend to be returned to their original times and their original homelands. I could not speak for certainty as I do not know. When the original Hero of Time from my time left, I believe he was returned to Hyrule.

There is no definite proof, however...

When he initially pulled the Master Sword from the Pedestal of Time, he was just a young boy and could not be the Hero of Time. For seven years he slept while Hyrule fell beneath Ganondorf's grasp. That was the Link I knew, and that was the Link who was here before. He disappeared... shortly after I arrived.

[Difficult times. She'd had a complicated time enduring it all. It was that, among other things, that had drawn her and Jak together. In that respect, she was thankful to Link.]

The younger Link here, is... He is of another time. Although he seems younger, he is more the Hero of Time than the other one was. He is so much more sure of himself and dedicated to the cause.

He does seem...dedicated. [She thought to their conversation, and she almost smiles.] He was...very eager to offer his protection.
